Community Guidelines

The EasyPeasy app brings together the best ideas, advice, and inspiration from a global community of parents, experts, and parenting brands, supporting parents and their 0-5 year olds during the crucial early years.

Our philosophy is evidence-based and simple. Early child development is fuelled by real-world interactions between parents and their children. The EasyPeasy app is designed to help create the playful, positive connections that help families grow and thrive.

We believe in a world where all children have an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. That’s why our mission is to support parents to give their children the very best start in life.

Your responsibilities
The comments, opinions and statements posted in our community reflect the views of the user who makes the post and don't necessarily reflect the views of EasyPeasy. The information posted in our community, including advice and opinions, is the responsibility of those members who create the posts. Posts from users may contain medical information that is incorrect or dangerous to you or your children. Please consult your doctor or other qualified professional before relying on information you find in the community areas. If you believe that you have an emergency of any kind, please contact your healthcare provider or dial 999, or your local emergency number, for assistance.

EasyPeasy and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any consequence relating directly or indirectly to any action or inaction you take based on the content available via the app or our website. You must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of content posted in the community areas.

The content available in the community areas is provided with the understanding that neither EasyPeasy nor its suppliers or users are engaged in rendering medical, counselling, legal, or other professional services or advice.

You should not utilise such content as medical or healthcare advice, medical diagnosis, or treatment for any individual problem. It is also not intended as a substitute for professional advice and services from a qualified healthcare provider familiar with your unique facts. Always seek the advice of your doctor or other qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition.

Your protection
As an EasyPeasy community member, you agree to and are protected by our terms and privacy policy. If you come across any content, profiles or comments that you feel unsure about, or think are inappropriate, you can report this directly to us via the app, and our support team will review and respond accordingly as set out in the Community Guidelines below. Reported content, comments and profiles are immediately removed from the app until assessed by our Support team.

Creating content on the EasyPeasy app
Our community can easily share their own tips, ideas, tips and activities on the app, by using the create functionality.
EasyPeasy reserves the right to edit, where appropriate, content descriptions that contain spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. All content posted on the EasyPeasy app is reviewed and moderated within 24 hours of being posted. If a piece of content does not meet our guidelines, our moderation team will remove it, inform the user, and share with them ways that they could improve it to make it suitable for reposting.

Original content only 
Please make sure you’re only submitting your original ideas, photos and videos to our platform. Only share images, videos and graphics that you own the copyright to, or royalty free Creative Commons content.

Medical information
Medical misinformation can be dangerous and is not allowed. Anyone who is reported for and found to be maliciously sharing misinformation will have their EasyPeasy account disabled and access terminated.

No illegal content
Anyone who uploads illegal content will have their EasyPeasy account disabled and access terminated. Users may also be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Keep it clean
Don’t upload comments, text, photos or videos which contain nudity, violence or could be deemed inappropriate. Community members who upload this type of content will to have their EasyPeasy account disabled and access terminated. If in doubt, ask us. 

No promotions or spamming
Spam, click bait links and irrelevant posting is not allowed. Do not post adverts for commercial products or services. 

No trolls
We are determined that parents and carers within the EasyPeasy community enjoy each other’s contribution to the platform. Please do not offend, curse, hassle or abuse others. Anyone who is reported for such activity, and found to be rolling will have their EasyPeasy account disabled and access terminated.

Breastfeeding content
Breastfeeding related content is currently visible to parents who have children between the ages of 0-24 months. We support all mothers who choose to breastfeed beyond this age. Our content age criteria is based on the World Health Organisation breastfeeding guidance. Do explore our feeding category which shows content related to children beyond 24 months. 

Breastfeeding imagery
While we don’t allow nudity to be shared on our app, the exception is visuals of women actively breastfeeding. We want mothers who choose to breastfeed to feel free to share their experiences on the EasyPeasy App. You are welcome to post about your experiences, and include photos or videos as appropriate. We also share some partner content which includes images and videos of mothers breastfeeding.

Be welcoming
This means treating everyone with respect and showing sensitivity when commenting on other parents’ and carers’ ideas or suggestions. Every caregiver has value to offer regardless of the type of approach they take.

Cancelling your account
If you would like to cancel your EasyPeasy account, you can do this by logging into the app on your mobile device and clicking 'delete account' in the side menu. If you are a personal premium member and are looking for a refund, please visit the Apple Store or Google Play Store for guidance.
